While I can’t say that I don’t love the hustle and bustle of the city during New York Fashion Week, I’ve actually enjoyed watching it from afar this time around. My own version of fashion week included hitting up the Splendid sample sale for my little gal who turned five months old this week and then hopping over to American Rag on Saturday to shop for my NYC trip that is just around the corner. Yesterday, though, I spent a good amount of time getting caught up on the street style photos and was liking what I saw. There were a lot of bucket bags, which I’m a huge fan of (see ya oversized totes!), Some prints (but not as many as seasons past), and denim manifesting itself in some really cool ways. Overall, though, the three trends that seemed to be on repeat were leather everything, trainers for days (you’re welcome, feet!), and white on white on white. Forget the old mantra of not wearing it after Labor Day. Rules were made to be broken, right?
