Somewhere out there the leaves are changing color and bright red apples are ripening on their branches. Here in LA, though, summer is still in full swing which has me itching to get out of town and up the coast for a few days. An ocean breeze and an Amtrak train might be just the ticket to wearing the new fall pieces I have been coveting for so long. Plaid blazers and chic leather riding boots? Yes, please!
Few things scream fall as much as a great pair of riding boots. Do you have a pair? They are one of the most timeless and classic pieces you can have in your wardrobe arsenal. The Italian leather of these Coach Lilac boots
is about the most supple I have ever encountered. The stretch fabric back allows them to bend to the unique curve of your leg and hold their perfect structure and shape. Years of ballet dancing has left my calves too big for super skinny boots, but these are a perfect fit!
What to wear with your favorite fall riding boots? Just about anything. Think opaque tights paired with tweed shorts and a great top or your favorite skinny jeans and a button down for a look that’s decidedly uptown and preppy.
Anyone up for a getaway? Let’s hop a train!
