While I can’t believe Parker will be one in less than a month, I did finally breakdown and make some progress planning her party. As much as I love baking and cooking and hosting a party with lots of fun diy details, I’ve decided (after some serious persuasion from Aaron) to hire out most of it. I really want to be able to sit back and enjoy the day with our friends and family and celebrate this little lady that has brought us immeasurable joy. The cake has been ordered from Big Sugar Bakeshop, Heirloom LA is catering, and the whole shebang is going down in our own backyard. Do you have big party plans this weekend? Any favorite tips for stress free children’s birthdays? Here are a few things I’ve been enjoying around the web these past few days….
Love, love, love this diy concrete vase!
I’ve already decided that I want donuts for breakfast on Parker’s birthday. I might need these for dessert, though!
I like just about anything in taco form. These are no exception…
I’ve yet to jump on the Birkenstock bandwagon, but these seem so perfect for summer!
Who doesn’t want to be more efficient?
We are headed to Phoenix next weekend for a quick poolside getaway. I just ordered this swimsuit and am keeping all fingers and toes crossed it fits!
Speaking of weekend getaways, if this doesn’t get you in the spirit, nothing will!
What a short trip to LA looks like with this creative couple…
The most beautiful breakfast smoothies… (Maybe I should opt for these instead of the donuts?)
